Suit Up – Styled For Day and Night

“The Suit” it’s a timeless classic that often brings about images of corporates walking in the city with briefcase in tow, and let’s be honest majority of those corporates we imagine are men. However a suit can be just as classic on a female figure (and evoke the some amount of power as a suit on a male body). Yet have you ever considered a suit for “every day” or even for a night out? Believe it or not but a suit can be made casual (brunch anyone?) And when styled appropriately a suit can be just as eye catching and alluring (and dare I say sexy) as your little black dress for dinner and drinks.

Suit Up – For Day:

  • Leave the jacket undone & roll the sleeves to give the suit jacket a more undone, casual feel.
  • Team the suit with good quality basics – a white tee is the perfect companion!
  • Finish off with your favourite flats (definitely no heels here!) My favourite flat of choice is the humble casual white sneaker.
  • If wearing matching pieces is too much swap the suit pants with your favourite jeans.

Suit Up – For Night:

  • Amp up the sex appeal by buttoning the suit jacket over a lacy bra (if you dare) or a lace trimmed silk cami.
  • Dress the suit up with your favourite pair of heels, points work best to lengthen your legs. Rather than black add a little intrigue with an expected colour or print like leopard.

Stand out from the crowd with this striking red tuxedo jacket and pants from ASOS, however a black or navy suit will look just as striking.
