Smitten Kitten (heels that is)
We have been through towering stilettos that made even the most confident model wobble like a baby giraffe, the normcore “fugly” slides that gave the perception of student backpacker so it comes with much delight that kitten heels are the new trending shoe. Delight because these feminine heels both look great and are comfortable enough to take you to work, weekend brunches, dinner with the girls and everything in between. All with thanks to Dior, Balenciaga and Céline – who showed variations of the kitten on the AW runways. Kitten heels also featured prominently on the feet of the street style savvy (including the coveted pair of Dior’s J’adior ribbon sling backs) teamed with cropped ripped denim and leather minis.
For those more daring wear yours with another fashion trend; the 90’s, think silky slip dresses, velvet anything and tracksuit pants (yes, the kitten heel really does go with anything).
If the Dior J’adior (pictured left) is out of the budget at around $1,200 I have found some equally chic for any budget:

Trust me, make the change. You’ll be forever smitten.
